Welcome!
This is a place for me to air my ongoing onslaught by the agents at Sentry Managment ( "On behalf of your [Battle Ridge HOA] association's Board of Directors" ).
It started with the inital letter about my Vegetables of all things!!! Please visit http://www.BattleRidgeHOAHatesVegetables.com for the details and my thoughts on the subject.
The very next week while my family and I were away on vacation, I received another notice that I needed to mow my yard weekly. Whatever... there were a few spots here and there which were a bit tall, but overall the grass didn't look much different after cutting. I wish I had taken pictures and saved the letter to post here, but I did not think they would keep coming after me.
Next up (one week later) this letter:
Of course when I call to talk to Andrea Superak the day I recieved this letter in the mail, she was conveintly out of the office! Imagine that, send out violation letters and then close up shop... extremely poor service from the people who are taking OUR money each month and are supposed to be helping OUR neighboorhood!
Well now we all have this great web documentation to thank for your piss poor decision!
Back to the issues at hand... You have to realize, while this is in the restrictions, my trash can has been in the very same place since we moved in over 3 years ago. The recycle can is new, but the bin we used before was kept in the same place as the cans are now.
In addition, there are countless other residents who keep their cans in site... see how many pictures I took of these examples on just a short walk down one half of one street in our neighboorhood!
Next I recevied this second notice:
Since I still have not been able to contact Andrea Superak as she conveinetly does not seem to ever be at the desk to answer the phone, and I don't have time to sit and wait for a return call, I went ahead and prepared this nice email and sent it over:
Date: Wed, 06 Jul 2011 12:18:56 -0400
From: Thomas Forrester
To: asuperak@sentrymgt.com
Subject: To be picked up on Wednesday July 13, 2011
Ms. Superak,
Since you are not reachable by phone ( as even the receptionist tried to get me to email you ), I have prepared this in an email.
First off I have to say it is unfair to pursue the trash can matter ( for me and any other residents you may be targeting with this ). At the very least, 25% of the association members store their trash and recycle cans in view of the road. This has not been an issue back since we moved in over 3 years ago, as the can and recycle bin were kept in the same place by the people who lived here before us. Having a baby in the house, we use our outside trash can 5 or more times a day, the only accessible place is by the side garage door. It seems most of the neighbors agree as this is the same place they keep their cans.
Next, I am formally requesting the following to be picked up from your office at 3714 Benson Dr. Ste 200, Raleigh, NC, 27609 on Wednesday July 13, 2011 between 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the receptionist's ( Denise ) desk:

Best regards,
Thomas Forrester
I'll keep everyone posted!
As a PAYING member of our HOA I expect to see Sentry Management and the Battle Ridge Homeowners Association RESPECT OUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS as Citizens of the USA -- "the land of the FREE" -- didn't HOA's get the memo?
